This is a story of a girl finding her way.

I’m Heather Trapp. Originally from S. Louisiana, then transplanted to Florida with my husband in the 90’s, I’m happy to call myself a Floridian, who knows how to make a good “roux” (Don’t know what that is? Google it.).

I am an artist, blogger, writer, speaker, preacher and teacher, and I am pursuing Priesthood in the Episcopal Church. I am married to Ray for 16 years, and we have two kids, Dylan and Mackenzie (who are both teenagers!)

I have been serving in youth ministry for almost 8 years now, and for the past four years, I have been the full time Youth Director of Refuge at Indian River City UMC , in Titusville, Florida.  One of my greatest joys is being with teenagers (call me crazy!).

This blog tells a story of a girl who is still growing up. A girl who has, by grace, is finding her way to wholeness. A girl who loves to design, to write, to preach, to tell stories of God’s unexplainable grace.

May you today know that you are deeply loved by God, wherever you are in your journey of life. Please feel free to contact me in the form below.

Best,

Heather
